My name is Rhama Lalgudi Visweswaran, and I write here as Crow’s Nest Observer. The name comes from the crow’s nest of a ship — a quiet lookout from where one watches the endless dance of the sea. Much like that observer, I find myself watching life from a distance at times, noticing its gentle ebbs and sudden waves, its moments of stillness and motion.

Outside these stories, I spend my days immersed in the world of fintech. But it’s in writing that I find the rhythm that work alone cannot offer — a space to untangle thoughts, trace fleeting emotions, and see how the ordinary often hides something extraordinary.

An Average Being is where these reflections take shape. Through short stories that blur the line between the real and the imagined, I try to capture the quiet meaning that life whispers in its simplest moments.
